Coz it's my birthday! I marked it in the most over-the-top way I could manage — a sweeping lilac tulle gown with pearl detailing, big enough to fill the whole sidewalk, in Wellington, Florida.
A little ladyfinger cake with a pink donut on top, a bouquet of peonies tucked into the tulle, and the Versailles gates and swan pond behind me — a properly sweet way to spend a birthday.
