Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful. I leaned into that on Floral Street in Covent Garden, in front of a wall stacked with red and pink blooms — a sheer polka-dot blouse, lace gloves, and drop earrings doing the rest of the work.
A red skirt peeking out at the bottom tied the whole look back into the flowers behind me. Sometimes the best backdrop in London is just whatever's already blooming.
