Woohoo, it's Friday! Oh wait, I'm a mom — so Friday night is still bedtime by nine, but that doesn't mean I can't dress like it's a big night out. A pleated navy-and-gold striped skirt with a one-shoulder bow top did the job.

I caught this shot mid-step on Regent Street, skirt swinging with the curve of that gorgeous colonnaded building behind me. Some Fridays are for going out — this one was for a walk and an early night, and honestly, I wasn't complaining.
