A bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else. Even mid-lockdown, with most things closed, a walk along the river with a red scarf trailing behind me in the wind was enough to make the day feel good again.

The London Eye framed the whole scene perfectly, with a classic red phone box standing guard just off to the side. Some days don't need a plan — just a bit of wind and a good backdrop.
