The Montreal road trip didn't stop in Montreal. One more drive along the St. Lawrence, one more skyline, and a full day of brunch, cobblestones, and pastry in Québec City.
Welcome To Québec City
The drive in caught the river just past the highway railing, the light going soft and pink behind a line of road signs. "Welcome to Québec City 🇨🇦"
Brunch Ready
First stop was brunch, patio seating under string lights and umbrellas in the old city. "Brunch Ready."
Brunch itself was an Egg Benedict at Au Petit Chalet — poached eggs, hollandaise, home fries, and fruit on the side.
Ahaan (@ahaan_bansal28) went straight for his favorite — a chocolate-drizzled waffle piled with strawberries and whipped cream. "Ahaan's fav Waffle."
France In Canada?
After brunch, a walk through Place Royale — stone facades, red-trimmed windows, and flower boxes spilling over onto the cobblestones. "France in Canada 🇨🇦?"
Coffee, Croissants, And A Little Chanel
The afternoon slowed down at La Maison Smith — a display case full of croissants and macarons impossible to walk past. "Can't wait to have coffee and croissant 🥐"
Table essentials for the afternoon: a quilted white Chanel vanity case and matching sunglasses, set down on the patio table. "Essentials."
And the order itself: a heart-topped latte next to a berry Danish and a butter croissant. "Satisfied."
A sunset drive in, brunch with Ahaan, a walk through Place Royale, and coffee and croissants to close it out — the Montreal road trip's best detour yet. Follow along for the day-to-day on Instagram @roopsi_bansal.
