"Bad energy people- sorry currently on vacay mode 😂" A second day in Montreal started slow, stayed golden the whole way through, and ended with a new pair of shoes doing all the walking.
Waking Up With This View
The day opened with the best kind of alarm clock — a wide arched hotel window framing the downtown Montreal skyline, glass towers and green treetops catching the early light. "Waking up with this view 🫶," from a room in Downtown Montreal.
All Set To Explore
Getting-ready came together fast: a brown tie-dye off-shoulder top, a quilted white vanity bag on a gold chain, sunglasses in hand. "All set to explore," from the elevator lobby, Downtown Montreal.
A Detour Through An Antique Shop
Exploring downtown led into a curio shop packed floor to ceiling with porcelain roses, gilded vases, crystal candle holders, and a whole shelf of teacups — the kind of place built for slow browsing.
So Comfy
New shoes got their first steps in on Montreal pavement — a pair of rust-brown bow-front flats from Dream Pairs. "So comfy," tagged straight to @dreampairsshoes.
Golden Hour At Place D'Armes
The walk landed at Place D'Armes as the sun dropped low, the same brown tie-dye top now paired with flared jeans and the Dream Pairs flats, the ornate stone facade of Hotel Place D'Armes rising up behind her. "Bad energy people- sorry currently on vacay mode 😂" Footwear credit went, once again, to @dreampairsshoes.
Also Today: Back Out For The Evening
Golden hour rolled straight into dinner — a walk past a row of red umbrella-shaded patios downtown, sidewalks still busy with the after-work crowd.
A stop at a fountain square in the heart of downtown turned into a few minutes of just watching the water and the pigeons with Ahaan (@ahaan_bansal28) in tow.
Dinner led into a spot with a staircase worth stopping for — hand-painted florals and greenery covering every step. "These stairs 🥰"
And back to that same arched window to close the day out — the downtown skyline all lit up. "Room view I'll never get tired of 🖤✨"
A skyline for breakfast, an antique shop for the afternoon, golden hour in Old Montreal, and a fountain, a staircase, and that same skyline again to close it out — vacay mode, fully committed. Follow along for the day-to-day on Instagram @roopsi_bansal.
